Uniting Communities Through Sport: Celebrating the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace at Masinde Muliro University
International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, 6 April
KNATCOM Commemorated the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP), which takes place annually on 6 April in a great way.
The Commission hosted the IDSDP Celebrations at Masinde Muliro University. With the theme: “sport promoting peaceful and inclusive societies” the celebrations involved children, University students, members of the community within the University and people with disabilities.
With over 8 sports taking place, the sports enabled creation of new networks, friendships and unity.
